Amori Fati

It’s not the joy that brings the gratitude, it’s the gratitude that brings the joy.

A grateful thought is the most powerful weapon against fear, anxiety, and anger.

In case you didn’t already know… I am a control freak, a planner, and a protector.  And this year has turned all those areas of comfort on their ear. I have been challenged in so many ways and even though I have been outside of my comfort zone, I am learning to be grateful for the growth in each area. This year God is absolutely resetting my baseline for gratitude and my tight grip of control :).

This year I am learning to be grateful for and to enjoy the journey and the challenges not just the destinations and successes.

What are you grateful for this year? When you count your list of blessings at the Thanksgiving table this week are there any hardships or difficulties on that list? Are you only grateful for the success, happiness, and sunshine or have you learned to embrace and be thankful for the challenges too?

Thanksgiving Challenge

Who are you grateful for this year? What challenges are you facing that will shape you for your future destinations… how can you learn to embrace and be grateful for them?

Who has spoken into your life this year? What gifts or support have others given you that have made you who you are today? Where and to who do you need to show more gratitude?

Write down one thing that you are grateful for, one challenge that you are grateful for and text one person that you are thankful for.

“The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.” — Zig Ziglar

I pray each of you have a beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving!
