Where are you spending your time?

What is getting too much of my time right now? What is getting too little?

Sometimes I get stuck in a rut and find myself going through the motions. Usually, it’s because I’m spending too many days in a row on things that I don’t like, don’t matter and/or don’t move the needle. For me, this is frustration and demotivation. In order to avoid this spiral, and keep focused on the things that matter most, I routinely try to ask myself “What is getting too much of my time right now? What is getting too little?” This quick audit helps me recenter and adjust my days to be more aligned with my long-term goals.

Staying focused on the high payoff activities and the areas of your life that matter the most to you is the key to designing the life you want and not just settling for where you drift. If you find it hard to answer these two questions, try doing a time audit. https://www.timedoctor.com/blog/time-audit/ The time audit helps you understand where you are spending your time. If are still struggling with those two questions and you’re not quite sure where you should be spending your time, work on your life design. https://livingforwardbook.com Knowing first where you want to go is the only way to get there!
