Life's too short to not enjoy ice cream :)

Life’s too short to not enjoy sunshine and ice cream on these beautiful spring days!!! Cheers!

There are so many cliches and quotes about the benefits and enjoyment of living in the moment. Yet, in our instant gratification, microwave culture… the faster we get on to the next thing, the better. And then we look back at yesterday and think… man, those were the good old days. It’s a strange dynamic that all we have guaranteed is today, and yet we spend so much energy thinking or worrying about the past and the future.

Just this week, I allowed the enemy to rob me of a few days by spending time missing my work family, being blue and focusing on the past and the future. But I realized there is unbelievable power in the present.

What we fear about tomorrow will certainly change and what we have today will soon be gone. If we keep racing past this moment to get to the next, then we lose today? It gets missed, ignored, and its treasures left behind. The friends and family and experiences that we have in our present are filled with power that should not be ignored.

As Daniel Harkavy said…. “What does today make possible.”

What people, experiences or things should be enjoyed today because they have value and will be scarce, unavailable, or gone tomorrow? What can we do today to live in and be grateful for the moment?

The further we get in our life on this graph the more value we place on the moments. How cool would it be if we learn how precious they are much earlier in life? What can you do to place value on today and the things that are right in front of you?

REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCE… WE GET TO BE HERE TODAY. ENJOY IT!

Notes that Resonated:

  • Never stop being the good person because of the behavior of bad people

  • God artfully turns pressure into power

  • God often uses the things that you think disqualify you

  • Don’t let how you feel today abort what you are called to do today

  • Our desire for instant gratification has ushered us to the point that we sacrifice excellent quality because of the difficulty and time it takes to produce it.- Bishop TD Jakes

  • To become great, you have to embrace repetition

  • In life, you will always find what you fish for

Nothing great to recommend this week 😟! Let me know if you read anything outstanding lately, everything I have picked up lately has been subpar.

Mortgage Stuff: Credit Score LLPA adjusters

I know all of you are posting videos and educating your realtors and borrowers about the new loan level adjustors and credit score requirements, but I decided to include this grid and video link anyway. Most customers and realtors think that credit score adjustments are a new thing and can’t seem to understand why high credit score borrowers are being given worse rates than low credit score borrowers. But as you know that’s not what’s happening. In essence, Fannie and Freddie are just redistributing the pain and making it easier for low credit score buyers to be able to afford the payments. Below is a good chart to illustrate how the adjusters affect each credit tranche of borrowers.
