Good Habits

This week was all about creating/ maintaining good habits and strong systems.

As the market starts to shift and the competition starts the get gnarly… We need to be more focused on the basic blocking and tackling that makes us great. Things like maintaining strong capture with accounts, good customer service, always closing on-time every time and having operations as our competitive advantage will be what carries us through rough times around the corner.  The best way for us to make this happen is by helping our teams create good habits, documenting and training on best practices and leveraging strong systems.  With all the extra volume and crazy market it was easy for us to get away from that in 2020.  But now is the time to get back to the basics so we can help our teams win even when times get tough.

What best practices need to be followed by your teams? What systems and processes need to be documented and what people need to be trained on both to create efficiency and unconscious competency?

As Anne Marie is so beautifully demonstrating…. Its super easy to slip when your lose your focus…. Let’s get focused.

Notes that Resonated:

I choose faith over fear

Every day is a great day to grow!

The task of breaking a bad habit is like uprooting a powerful oak within us

A goal is something you want to achieve a system is what helps you get there.

Goals are good for setting a direction, but systems are best for making progress.

Winners and losers often have the same goals.

The goal cannot be expected to be what differentiates the winners from the losers.

The problem isn’t the results.  The problem is the lack of systems to create better results

You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.

My expectations always starts out higher than my ability.  Then my ability rises to my expectations

You can’t expect to thrive without some level of sacrifice

Wealth is created when your assets earn while you sleep

Happiness and money should not be in the same conversation… Money is meant to elevate the quality of living

Money is a tool to give you access to great memories
