Taking Advantage of Time
It’s been a minute since I gave a ranch update so thought I’d share today…. Basically we suck at farming. 5 of the fruit trees died and we literally have one tree that had one peach on it. But, when I went out today to check on the peach today and guess what… its gone 🙃 so at least for this season that’s the end of the fruit.
Ranching seems to be more our speed. All the animals are still doing well and the “broiler” roosters/chickens are huge! Literally the largest chickens I have ever seen in my life.
This week’s snip-it’s has lots of notes about taking advantage of the time we have been given. The verse Psalm 90:12-17. KJV · “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Came to mind when I heard the phrase: “Most people don’t live to see their 30,000th day….” & “It is not that we have a short time to live it is that we waste a lot of it”.
Lots of content listed this week…. The main themes are: time is precious, managing anxiety and stress, how to have a seat at the table, a few food items we made, some financial news, and lots of cool quotes that came from all kinds of places.
Hope you enjoy them….
