The Obstacle is the Way
Notes that Resonated:
Stop negative thought loops
What’s the story you are telling yourself in your head? What you hear in your head will become your reality. Be careful what you tell yourself… your mental identity creates your physical reality
Gratitude changes everything!
Leadership is about giving the tools and encouragement and then watching other rise
Where your focus goes, your energy will flow
Stop trying to be better than those around you… start being better than yourself
Have the courage to be bad at something first in order to get good at it later
Do you have a daily rhythm to win the day? Are you in the rhythm today? Did you show up? If not jump back in the rhythm
In the confrontation of a stream and a rock the stream always wins… not with might but perseverance
Tough times don’t last but tough people do
“Most daily actions evaporate. Some accumulate." - James Clear
Work on building daily actions that accumulate for long term gain. For example if you watch TV for 30 min every day that time spent just evaporates. Nothing is really gained. As opposed to spending 30 min daily learning French.. That time accumulates to you eventually becoming fluent in the language.

See the opportunity inside the obstacle
We often react to a situation with emotion… we can either be blindly led by these emotions or we can stay in control… filter them and then understand and learn from them. Which do you think is more productive?
If you choose not to be harmed, you will not feel harmed, if you do not feel harmed you will not be
You decide how things effect you… you are in control
Someone can’t frustrate us it’s our perception and feelings that make us frustrated. The power is yours. Don’t give up your power.
Fear is debilitating, distracting, tiring and often irrational.. use the power of perception to defeat it

Cool Stuff:
This weekend I rediscovered Legos…. I have to say I am so impressed. The new Lego build app coupled with so many very well put together cool kits is amazing. The app has a custom 3D video walkthrough step by step. It brings technology and hands on fun together. Tap into your inner child again or have fun with a child this Thanksgiving or Christmas season. Either way you will not be disappointed.
