Dirty Hard Work

Ok so it’s not Sunday…. But its Sunday for me 😊.  HAPPY LABOR DAY weekend.  I hope you all enjoyed it!!

The content star of the week was the book chop wood carry water.  Thanks for the recommendation Jay it was worth the read.  Although most of us understand the concept of focusing on the craft and not the results this book does a really good job bring this home.  I enjoyed this book because it really gave me some outstanding perspective on mindfulness, the pitfalls of negativity and discouragement and the need for feeding your mind for positive growth.  I included a few of my favorite quotes.

And Congrats to Jaelen living his best life and competing in physique.  He placed 1st and 2nd this weekend.  Lots of years poured into this weekend.  He’s someone who understand success looks like dirty hard work and the bright lights this weekend revealed all the hard work he put into it for years.
