Cheers to a NEW YEAR

It's that time of year again.  The close of one year and the bright and shiny possibilities of another.  It’s the perfect time to reflect on the successes and challenges of 2022 and look begin to look ahead and plan for the amazing possibilities of 2023.  As you take time over the next week or two (if you have not done so already) to plan out your year, I have included a few questions I use to help get my juices flowing.  2022 was a tough year for everyone… and  the beginning of 2023 is going to have a little hang over from 2022 but… with a little imagination and a lot of elbow grease we can make this the best year ever!

DREAM BIGGGG!!!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2022 Postmodum Questions:

Who are you grateful for this year?

What were the 'difficult' things this year?

What experience did you have that you are thank for?

What is the most important lesson you learned this year?

What did you feel guilty for in 2022
What is the best thing that happened?
What did you do for your career growth?
What did you enjoy the most?
What was your favorite moment?

Did you feel you spent enough time with your family/significant other in 2022? How would you change this in 2023?
How did you have fun?
What new habits did you start?
What are you the most proud of this year?
How did your relationships (family, friends, work) evolve?
How did you fail?
What got in the way of your success?
What would you do differently if you could?
How are you different than a year ago?
What did you do for your physical and mental health?
Who or what had the biggest impact on your life this year?
What did you leave unfinished?
Which of last years goals did you not achieve? Why did you not achieve them? Will you carry them on to 2023 and if not why?
What energised you? what drained you?
What advice would you give your last-year self?

2023 Questions:

What do you want from the year ahead?

What do you want to accomplish

What do you want to learn?

Where do you want to grow?

At the end of next year, if you are drastically exceeding your expectations, what would you be doing?

Notes that Resonated

Show me your schedule and I will show you your priorities

When nothing is sure everything is possible

The young man knows the rules the old man knows the exceptions

A positive mind set doesn’t not guarantee success but a negative mindset guarantees failure

You only lose when you give up

In heated situations notice your ego and fail to respond with it… this will limit the power it has over you

You are not your successes or failures. You are a work in progress with years of gifts you have been given by others

Values are your GPS and help you navigate through the year… be clear on them and write them down

A goal is a way to sift through the noise and focus on what you are doing
