Making 2023 the best year ever!
This weekend I was in my happy place in the mountains, on the snow, planning and resetting for the new year.
I don’t think anyone on this email list was sad to see 2022 come to a close. Although we are a bit nervous to see what 2023 will hold, we are currently at a magical place where one year has come to a close and the new year hasn’t rolled into full swing. We are in the perfect place to set the tone of the new year before its momentum takes over us. Your prefect year is just a few habits and goals away…Take this very perfect time to evaluate your habits, set your goals and make 2023 the best year ever! I’ve included a few things I enjoyed this week as I started my reset… HAPPY 2023!
Notes that Resonated:
When in doubt, zoom out. (When you look at the big picture does it look the same)
Time is our most precious asset. Invest it wisely.
Do something every day… Remember: Anything above zero compounds exponentially!
we often don’t succeed with goals because we don’t believe we can
doubt is goal toxin
The Two-Day Rule- With whatever habit you're trying to build, never allow yourself to skip more than one day in a row.
Ideas are CHEAP, execution is EXPENSIVE.
Most people overestimate what they can achieve in a day and underestimate what they can achieve in just one year of consistent intentional habits
The massive, positive change you want to make in your life is just one year away.... Invest in the 20 mile march and this time next year you will be radically different
The simple 20-Mile March… recipe for success:
Commit to something manageable.
Make small incremental progress daily/weekly/monthly through manageable actions
Stick to it.
Are you doing all you need today to be second to none two years from now

Achieving goals is always about systems and discipline. The Bullet journal system and process has always been a tool that has made a difference in my life. It’s a simple easy system that can help you with the discipline of organization, track goals, journaling and keeping traction of action items and to do’s. This can really help you stay on top of your 100 mile march. Below are a few videos on the topic i found interesting as I was going through my bj reset.
