Perspective
Benny commented on my peach story from last week and it resonated with me so I thought I would share his comments. He makes a very valid point. All too often we see a less than perfect or anticipated outcome as a failure. When in actuality it is a success. It just might not be the one you had in mind. So many parallels can be driven from his point.
Benny’s note to me: “I for some reason don’t know why but your peach story to me was symbolic to me in the form of life’s failures to success.
I know you said you aren’t successful farmers but I thought the exact opposite , the fact you were able to grow A peach was successful in itself.
You can replace the Peach tree with ones ideas or people on life that don’t work out . You plant so many but not all work out but in them all you find or need is that One(one peach) that is great (idea or person) and that allows us to keep at it , the knowing that we helped that peach .”
Notes that Resonated:
Accountability helps people keep people’s eyes on a very clear prize. They know what they are working toward and how they are going to get there. Accountability gives people and organizations a sense of purpose
If you want tomorrow to be the most beautiful day of your life, then spend some time today think about the end
In Meditations Marcus Aurelius “You could leave life right now…. Let that determine what you do and say and think.”
Amor fati is a mindset that you take on for making the best out of anything that happens: Treating each and every moment—no matter how challenging—as something to be embraced, not avoided. To not only be okay with it, but love it and be better for it. So that like oxygen to a fire, obstacles and adversity become fuel for your potential.

in order to find the best solution you have to fall in love with the problem
