Peace Under Pressure
Well, it’s no secret to those of you that know me, that this week was way more disheartening and draining than anyone could have ever imagined. It’s sad that 18 years of growth, love, commitment and loyalty ended the way it did. But one thing I know - God has a plan and his timing is ALWAYS perfect.
I know that many of you are feeling anxious and stressed with what’s going on in the industry around you and maybe even in your personal life. Someone sent me the below video this week and it was so perfect for the situation. It really helped me and if you are dealing with stress, pressure or anxiety, I know you will find it helpful.
It’s a great reminder that God promises peace not an absence of pressure. Pressure is his way of creating diamonds. And if we ask for help…. The pressure will be released. I look forward to seeing the diamond that is created from our recent pressures

if you already have everything you need to achieve your goal, then your goal’s probably too small.-Michael Hyatt

What if your greatest frustrations from the previous year were actually pointing you to some of your biggest wins in the next? - Michael Hyatt
When you push yourself to grow, you will experience discomfort, but there’s profit in the pain. - Michael Hyatt
The comfort zone- the really important stuff in life happens when we are outside of this area
Your best year ever is just on the other side of your discomfort zone- you have to go through discomfort to get to the good stuff in life
Declare your desire to God- before Jesus healed someone who obviously needed restoration, he asked them to declare what they wanted. There is awesome power in verbalizing your desires. Great results don’t just happen. You can’t drift to where you want to go you have to be clear on your direction and set a path to get there. But it all starts with being intentional and clear on your destination.
Fifteen percent better every year is fine—for a time. But there always comes a time when another company comes and does it 100 percent differently. (Selling the invisible)
Where do you need to work on doing things 100% differently?
"Leadership begins with your behavior. What’s more powerful? A manager or coach or teacher who tells you the right thing to do? Or one who shows you how to live and work by example? People gravitate toward the standard you set, not the standard you request." - James Clear
