Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!  I hope everyone is enjoying a nice long holiday weekend in the sun with fun, family and friends! đŸ˜Š

We recently moved to a temporary home so we can repair some things at the house.  This move has really created chaos in my routine and thrown them out of whack.  So this week it’s time to get back to the basics and realign my routines.

Routines in general are hard for me.  I love to have variety and lots of new experiences in my life.  Variety, growth and change are ironically a necessary constant for me.  I don’t like repetition or doing the same thing over and over again.  But I also know that I am at my best when I am intentional and have specific routines.  Routines and disciplines are what carry me through the chaos or days when I lack of motivation.   Routines are a system or order of operation.  If you set them up right you don’t have to think about getting things done they just happen.  Routines when implemented well, become like autopilot.  They conserve energy and help me be exponentially productive even when I don’t feel like it.

Where are you trying to grow?  Where are you struggling the most?  Try to build a micro habit or routine around this area of your life.  It’s like building a franchise business… they money is in they systems.  What systems do you need to create for your business/ life?

Key routines to consider:

Sunday Habits

Monthly reporting and financial review

Daily bullet journaling

Daily gratitude accounting

Daily task lists

Carve out email time

Recruiting

Prospecting

Knowledge intake or personal development

Fitness routine (plan movement daily)

Notes that Resonated

Focus on the why not the how… and remember that where focus goes the energy flows

You absorb the energy around you.  Energy isn’t created it’s transferred from other sources.

Who/what are you absorbing energy from and what energy kind of energy are you transferring to others

Negative energy doesn’t have to become your energy.  Don’t allow yourself to consume and transfer the negative energy that may be around you

What made you happy this week?  What brought you joy? Recreate it

Are you intentional creating triggers in your life to be happy.  Intentionally be happy

What impact are you having today

You are the cause of everything in your life

The outcome in your life can only be as big as you think

What’s on the inside is a reflection on what’s on the outside

Your life success will never rise above your level of personal development.

We live in an abundant limitless world.  Do You have to have the disciplines to harness and take advantage of the opportunity of what’s around you

The routine and discipline or autopilot is what carries us through the times when we aren’t motivated.  Which in turn creates energy and motivation.
